Recently, our President G.W. Bush spoke among a number of leading businessmen about our country. He asked the businessmen how they would describe a spoiled child. This (though not his exact words), said Bush, is the American people.
And I applaud the perspective and paradigm. I also agree with it much the same way. As I have been working to engage the hearts of ordinary people, it is often like trying to sell life in a cemetery - they are too dead to buy anything of value.
Now, I believe the reference lies mainly to the liberal news media and the victim mentality being brought out in responce. The "If it bleeds - It leads" habit has brought a jaded mentality and an insensitivity to others.

True happiness and joy comes from giving and serving others - and too few are feeling the joy because they are filled with fears from the media's authorities.
The greatest fear in people is the fear of change. Unfortunately, in a world of change people are going to get sideswiped real fast and taken out of the comfort they desired and will be left to feel what true depravity means.
It’s time to grow up people and make some changes while you can still can. Keep reading.
