Would You Rather Spend Time At Work Or With Family?
Today’s world is crazy busy and who wants to spend all of our life chasing after money? As trends are moving younger generations value more time over a high paycheck, this creates a huge vacuum of possibilities for home-based businesses. With technology and Internet capabilities so high, a person can do any number of things to make extra income or even eliminate going to a job entirely.
Here are some of the concepts to look for:
Passive Income: You work once to produce something and it pays you for a long time. This is like writing a book, producing a music album, building a subscriber list or even an information product. If you find an opportunity to achieve passive income, this is a step in the right direction for overcoming your income obstacles for the rest of your life.
Duplication: This is where you get paid on the efforts of others. Ray Crock pioneered this with McDonalds and Franchising. MLM or Network Marketing captures the essence of this by recruiting a few – 20 – small business minded people and receiving a small benefit from their business. This ends up becoming decent money when an organization grows, but takes a while to achieve success. There is no get-rich-quick in Network Marketing.
Marketing Products or Services: This is the new salesman. No, don’t let the name scare you. Companies today are compensating people just like you and me to market their goods and services. Advertising is very expensive and though it can be great at building brand loyalty, it’s not great at generating sales. But some companies (and more in the future) will pay people to sell their items to their niche groups. Do you camp or play tennis? How about Nike paying you when you sell/refer Nike gear to your friends at the club? I have a whole E-mall I market with hundreds of companies participating.
Information Products: This is a biggie. Billions of dollars are being spent each year from Mail-Order products to Internet Sites to writing a book. Here you are taking your knowledge and putting it into usable format for others to learn from. In return, you glean a royalty (and sometimes a sizable one) for ever sale – forever.
What does it take to succeed? This is the question that every person asks. When the time is right, you will know. But let me tell you this:
2% of people get into a home based business and just tear things up. They don’t care how things ought to be; they are leaders and blaze their own trails. Unfortunately, without submitting to guidance or following the systems, they burn themselves and others out. These are the people who give business and MLM a bad name.
28% of people possess character, integrity and the steady work ethic to follow through on their promises and dreams. These are the best prospects for steady loyal customers to obtain.
70% of people get into a home based business expecting to make a huge amount of money right away. When they don’t see the money or realize they have to work, they quit – sometimes just as they were getting things rolling.
