Napoleon Hill’s 5 Key Elements of Success.
I am just giving a brief rundown on the 5 key elements of success Napoleon Hill set down as a reminder for us to keep our hearts clear and passions focused.
A burning desire. Do you have a burning desire to succeed? Without a burning passionate desire to accomplish something, you will never get it done. A man can be paid to perform – and that is called a job. But it is rare that they will become successful without a deep desire. The desire for money just isn’t powerful enough. It seems there is always an easier way elsewhere.
Specialized knowledge. If you want to be great in marketing or engineering or whatever endeavor you want to be successful at, you have to have that specialized knowledge. If you want to be great at buying and selling houses, you need to understand all the ways to structure deals as well as the prices for realtors, rehab contractors, city permits, mortgage brokers and advertising.
And the more specialized knowledge you can get, the better you will be at your endeavors. If you want to be an Internet Marketing guru, or sell things on the Internet, you need that specialized knowledge.
Continuous learning. It’s a sad fact but most people when they get out of school never pick up a book or study anything for the rest of their life. You are probably different already because you are reading this article right now. Still, most people never continuously learn and how can you not living in today’s world? It is all information and things are constantly changing. You have to stay on top of the learning circle.
Be decisive. You cannot be wishy-washy. Leaders and successful people are not wishy-washy. They get the information they need and then they make the decision.
To help them out, they have goals and focused passions they focus on. When something comes their way, it does not take long to filter any offer on whether it will help them in their pursuits or distract them. They can make a clear answer right away.
A master-mind group. You have a common-agenda group of friends or people you network with who you can talk to. People who build their inner-circle group receive the edification and caution and even expertise from others and thus gain the experience of the whole group when making decisions and value judgments.
Most people don’t do anything.
